A learning catalog shouldn't simply tell employees what's available. It should reflect what they actually need. I brought together employee conversations, leadership priorities, and subject-matter expertise to shape a learning experience grounded in the people it was designed to serve.

The monthly newsletter had a practical job: keep training visible. I used that familiar channel to connect required learning with course opportunities, timely resources, and questions that invited employees to think beyond the next deadline.

A respiratory protection program revealed something larger: gaps in medical-clearance continuity and pre-employment screening. I traced the issues across vendor transitions and onboarding, then corrected both processes for future employees.

I redesigned the employee safety-reporting experience around one adaptive Jotform and began building the broader EHS workflows around it—connecting accessible reporting, relevant information, and a clearer path to follow-through.

01 / Safety Communications
Safety Spotlight: Building awareness, one week at a time
Mustang Special Utility District · 2026
I designed Safety Spotlight 2026 as a yearlong communication strategy: 12 monthly safety themes, with weekly messages intended to build on one another. Instead of isolated reminders, the structure connected awareness, practical understanding, reflection, and reinforcement across operational safety, employee well-being, and emerging workplace risks.
One topic per month. A connected communication rhythm from week to week.

02 / Onboarding & Employee Experience
Redesigning onboarding around culture and role readiness
Mustang Special Utility District · 2026
I modernized pre-hire checklists that were more than two years out of date, developed role-appropriate e-learning paths for exempt and nonexempt employees, and rebuilt orientation around Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Innovation.
Instead of leading with rules, the presentation connected policies, Paycom, safety systems, and operational technology to how employees experience the organization.

03 / Facilitator Procurement & Experience
Bringing in the right facilitators and setting them up to teach
CoServ (Denton County Electric Cooperative) · 2024–2025
I interviewed and selected outside facilitators for their expertise and willingness to tailor sessions to employees’ work. I also worked through procurement and contractual arrangements that accounted for most of the approximately $15,000 in annual savings I identified.
To improve the experience, I built a digital facilitator welcome guide covering arrival, classroom setup, and what to expect. I arranged lunch for full-day visits and shared participant feedback to inform future sessions.
CoServ (Denton County Electric Cooperative) · 2024–2025
I helped make the case for developing employees before they entered leadership roles and supported role-based development work with organizational leaders. The approach aimed to connect leadership expectations, purposeful learning, and on-the-job application rather than treating promotion as the starting line.
CoServ (Denton County Electric Cooperative) · 2024–2025
I helped establish and administer an enterprise learning environment organized around employee roles. The work connected accessible learning paths, compliance training, content architecture, and reporting so employees could find relevant material and leaders could see progress.
